If you love beautiful cars, scenic drives and a weekend that feels like a little escape from the city, the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival should be on your calendar.
Taking place September 18–20, 2026 in Kemble and Owen Sound, Ontario, Cobble Beach brings together some of the most interesting cars and people in the Canadian automotive community for a weekend that goes well beyond the traditional car show.
The weekend culminates with the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, but there’s plenty happening before the main event. Here’s what you can expect from the 2026 edition — and why it’s worth making the trip.
Friday: Tour d’Elegance
The weekend officially gets underway Friday morning with the Tour d’Elegance, presented by Chevron Canada.
The tour departs Cobble Beach at 10:30 a.m., with participating cars making their way through the Grey Bruce region before stopping for lunch in Wiarton around noon and returning to Cobble Beach in the afternoon.
For those who love seeing exceptional cars actually being driven rather than simply displayed, the Tour d’Elegance is one of the highlights of the weekend.
Saturday: Cars, Coffee & Automotive Culture
Saturday brings the action into downtown Owen Sound.
From 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Cars & Coffee, presented by Brackett Auto Group, takes over 2nd Avenue East, giving visitors the chance to check out an eclectic mix of cars in a more relaxed setting.
Then from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., OBLIVION AVENUE takes place on 1st Avenue West, adding another layer of car culture to the downtown festivities.
But Saturday isn’t only about looking at cars.
The Roxy Theatre will host two automotive seminars, including a presentation by legendary designer Peter Brock on the origins and history of the Daytona Cobra Coupes, followed by a seminar celebrating 140 years of Mercedes-Benz innovation.
It’s a nice reminder that Cobble Beach isn’t just about collecting cars — it’s also about the design, engineering and stories behind them.
Sunday: The Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance
And then comes the main event.
On Sunday, September 20, the Concours d’Elegance takes over the Cobble Beach show field.
VIP ticket holders can enter from 8 a.m., while the show field opens to all other ticket holders at 9 a.m. Judging begins at 9 a.m., giving guests plenty of time to walk the field and take in the cars before the afternoon ceremonies.
Opening ceremonies and welcome announcements begin at 1:45 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 2:15 p.m., which is scheduled to conclude around 4:30 p.m.
And if you’re not quite ready for the weekend to end, the Afterglow Cocktail Reception begins at 5:15 p.m.
What Makes Cobble Beach Different?
There are plenty of automotive events across Ontario, but Cobble Beach has a slightly different feel.
It’s part Concours, part driving event and part weekend getaway.
The setting on the shores of Georgian Bay certainly doesn’t hurt either. Instead of spending the day walking through a convention centre or parking lot, you’re surrounded by beautiful scenery while exploring some seriously special automobiles.

It also makes for a great weekend if you’re interested in more than just cars. Between the downtown events, automotive history, design, driving and social side of the festival, there’s something to explore even if you’re not the person who can identify every car on the field.
