Canadian International Auto Show 2025

Welcome back to another Edition of SoViolette at the Canadian International Auto Show 2025

The 2025 Canadian International AutoShow is a feast for car lovers, bringing together the latest automotive innovations, jaw-dropping luxury models, and immersive brand experiences.

As a journalist, I had exclusive access to Media Day, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, private unveilings, and one-on-one conversations with industry insiders.

MERCEDES-BENZ AND COBBLE BEACH CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE

One of the standout moments was speaking with Mercedes-Benz about their highly anticipated comeback to the AutoShow after five years. I also had the opportunity to interview Rob McLeese, CEO of The Cobble Beach Concours, who played a key role in bringing Mercedes back to the event.

This collaboration created a fascinating fusion between Mercedes’ cutting-edge technology and the rich heritage of the brand, blending past and future in a remarkable showcase.

1938 Mercedes-Benz – on display at the AutoShow but is usually at a museum in Michigan, USA

Visitors to the Mercedes-Benz booth were treated to an impressive lineup of vehicles, including the G 580 with EQ Technology, making its Canadian premiere, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ Roadster, and the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupe.

The luxurious Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 4MATIC SUV was also on display, accompanied by the Welcome to Beyond interactive experience, offering a deep dive into the world of sophisticated luxury.
